Product Background
Driven by agricultural production demands: With the global development of large-scale agriculture, the aging of rural labor force has intensified, and issues such as low automation levels in pest control have become increasingly prominent. There is an urgent need for efficient and intelligent agricultural equipment in agricultural production. At the same time, the national land transfer policy has been promoted, and large areas of contiguous farmland have increased, providing space for the large-scale application of agricultural drones and prompting DJI to develop more powerful agricultural drones to meet market demands.
DJI's agricultural technology accumulation: In 2012, DJI applied drone technology to the agricultural field. In 2015, it launched the first agricultural drone MG-1. Since then, DJI agriculture has continuously carried out product innovation and function iterations based on the original intention of "solving farmers' needs, improving operation efficiency, and improving farmers' lives", and has experienced technological developments such as the DBF digital radar on T16 and the active phased array radar on T40, laying a solid foundation for the development of T100.
Product Performance and Features: The T100 has a maximum take-off weight of 149.9 kilograms. It features a 75-liter spraying capacity, a 150-liter broadcasting capacity, and an 85-kilogram lifting capacity. It adopts a coaxial twin-rotor configuration, with powerful propulsion and a maximum flight speed of up to 13.8 meters per second. It is equipped with a new laser radar and active phased array radar, along with a five-camera fisheye vision system. This enables it to perceive and precisely identify surrounding obstacles in all directions, with a laser radar point cloud density of up to 300,000 per second. Additionally, it has a new AR safety assistance function to ensure safe takeoff, operation, and return. Moreover, it supports multiple operation scenarios such as spraying, broadcasting, and lifting, and can meet the operational needs of most complex terrains like orchards.
Market Application Prospects: DJI agricultural drones have been sold to over 100 countries and regions across six continents. As of October 2024, DJI agricultural drones have covered 38% of the cultivated land in China. The T100, with its powerful performance and features, will further expand the application scope of DJI agricultural drones in the global agricultural market. It can not only be used for crop protection operations in large fields but also play an important role in orchard lifting, mountainous area agricultural materials transportation, and other scenarios, providing strong support for the development of global agricultural modernization.
